Zoey redbird
Zoey Redbird is your average sixteen year old teenage girl.
She has long brown hair and big dark brown eyes. After she has been marked, her
mark has turned to a sapphire blue that really makes her eyes stand out on her
pale white skin. Zoey is very mature for her age. She’s also a little scare/
courageous and a quiet person.
For a sixteen year old girl, Zoey is ver mature. The book
says that she’s never given into peer pressure to smoke or to drink. I think
that that’s very good considering a lot of the youth today are into that sort
of stuff. She has also persuaded her boyfriend Heath to stop drinking. “‘Heath,
you know how I feel about that. It’s bad and I don’t like it or you doing it,
so stop it. It’s not healthy for you at all.’ Zoey said nicely.”
Zoey is also the scared/ courageous type person. At first
she come off as being a little bit scared, but then throughout the story you
get to understand that she builds up inner courage and over comes her fears.
Because she is scared of her new life, new roommate, maybe not even accepting
the change, and even Aphrodite who is very intimidating, she over comes those
fears and stands up to them. “’It’s alright to be scared, everyone is on their
first few days,’ Neferet said trying to comfort Zoey. ‘I know, I’m terrified,
but I’m ready and I will do my best.’ She replied.”
Zoey Redbird is also a quiet person, although she has a lot
of friends. It seems as if she hides herself from them, but she always has that
one best friend who she trusts with anything and just pours out her soul too. It
USED to be Kayla, until she turned on her when Zoey got marked. Now it’s her
new best friends Stevie-Rae.
Stevie-Rae
Stevie-Rae is from Texas. She has short blonde curly hair
and bright blue eyes. She’s sixteen years old, the same age as Zoey. She
probably one of the most adorable girls you’d ever meet in your life! She also
has the cutest accent ever! Stevie-Rae is a hyper and talkative person. She can
go on forever and not get tired. She’s also a very hopeful person.
Stevie-Rae is a very hyper type person. She’s always fiddling
with something, be it a pen, her belt, her hair, ANYTHING. She ALWAYS has
something in her hands. She’s always jumping up and down; the book even refers
to her as being “like a puppy dog”. I know puppies, I have two. They’re both
CRAZY when someone rings a bell, or even when they see a bug, they go nuts. Sort
of how they explained Stevie-Rae.
Stevie-Rae is on the more wild and outgoing side. She likes
to talk… a lot. About anything with anyone. She’s the type of person who knows
the best type of gossip that goes around the school of Night. “’Sorry if I come
on a little too strong,’ Stevie-Rae said, ‘I was just so excited for u getting
here and now you’re here, I am SO excited! I have so much to tell you and I just
met you! I have a feeling we’re going to get along greatly!’”
Stevie-Rae is also a hopeful person. She’s always praying to
the goddess Nyx that everything will be good. Or she’s telling and encouraging
everyone that things are going to be alright. She also hopes to get into the singing
career and sing country songs. Hopeful for anything good to happen between her
and her friends. To even meet new people and make new friends. “’I guess what
im trying to say is, I want to be friends,’ she seemed so young and hopeful.”
